Hours of Operation
Fox Cleaners is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. at all locations.  Saturday Hours are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at our office (61st & Sheridan) and our plants (91st & Sheridan or 41st & Harvard). All other locations are 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. 

We offer “Same Day” cleaning of most items at all locations Monday through Friday until 9:00 A.M. at drop stores and 11:00 A.M. at our plants (91st & Sheridan or 41st & Harvard).  Give us a call if you can not make it in before 11:00 and we will see if there is anything we can do.

Free Pick-up & Delivery
We come to your home or office and pick-up any dry cleaning, laundry, or house hold items that you may need cleaned. We will also deliver any clean items we have for you at the same time. You do not need to be home to receive your dry cleaning or for us to pick-up your clothes because of monthly billing.

Dry Cleaning
Dry Cleaning is a dry to dry cleaning method that uses a special solvent made from petroleum to clean the clothes.  The process is called dry to dry, because they go in dry and come out dry. The method also does not use any water to clean the clothes.  Dry cleaned items are then hand finished with care and held to the highest quality.  Also dry cleaning is the best way to care for all your normal and delicate garment needs.

Laundry
Laundry is a harsh process that takes items from wet to dry in just a few minutes.  Shirts are pressed by special equipment designed solely for this purpose allowing the operator to produce 100+ shirts per hour.  This is the reason why we are able to launder shirts at such a reduced price.  Most shirts are made of cotton which is an organic fabric and why the process is so harsh.  Shirts first are washed in a commercial, high extract washer and then pressed on heads that reach a pressing temperature of 310 degrees.  This is actually shocking the fabric, to go through such a quick change.  The life expectancy of a laundered shirt is only 50 washings.  As shirts are laundered more they build up starch and soap in the fabric that over time causes the fabric to rot, leading to a condition referred to as dry-rot, allowing the shirt to be torn as easy as tearing a piece of paper.  The laundry process is not applicable to all types of fabric.  This process would damage and destroy most other fabrics that we process. 

 
House Holds
Fox Cleaners can clean most household items such as, bedding, tablecloths, and other furniture coverings.  Sheets can be washed and folded at a “per pound” charge, or starched and pressed for slightly higher rate.

Sorry, but we do not clean Draperies or Rugs.

Leathers
Fox Cleaners out sources leather cleaning to Ram Leather Cleaners located in Springfield Missouri.  Items usually take between one to four weeks for processing depending on the time of year and when the item is taken to our store.  This is out sourced and we require a deposit of twenty dollars.

Sorry, but we do not clean furs.

Wedding Dresses and Preservation
We are trained to clean and preserve your special wedding dress with the utmost care and quality.   We use a special acid free box for storage of your dress.  You can rest assured that we use fresh clean solvent for your dress and it is handled delicately all by itself while being cleaned.  We also steam and press wedding dresses so we can have you looking your best on that special day.

Waterproofing
We offer water repelling of your coats with next day service.  Your coats will last longer with this process and it is a minimal charge. Note, not all items are able to be water-repelled.
