Our dry-cleaning machines use hydrocarbon. These solvents have a clear advantage over perchloroethylene. They are safe for the environment, people and pets. You can help keep your family safe and protect the environment simply by choosing a dry cleaner that uses hydrocarbon solvents. Plus, these solvents also give your clothes a fresh, clean scent instead of the unpleasant chemical smell caused by perchloroethelyne and other solvents.
Dry cleaning is a cleaning process for clothes and textiles using a special dry cleaning machine and chemical solvent rather than water. This is why the process is called “dry”. It is used to clean fabrics that degrade in water and delicate fabrics that cannot withstand the rough tumble of washing machines and dryers.
